No doubt IELTS have highly qualified personnel and they are
expert in their jobs. But that doesn’t mean that they cannot make mistakes.
Most of the IELTS students are in dilemma whether they go for the re-assessing
or not. Students have lots of question on this. We give you some tips about
when and how you can go for the IELTS reassessing.

It is strongly recommended not to go for re-marked for your
reading or listening questions (as the questions either right or wrong) and
there is less chances in making score difference.
- If there is a band difference of 2 or more in speaking & writing scores, no need to apply for re checking as they are usually double-checked automatically.
- A re-mark might be good if you only need an extra half band in speaking or writing (e.g. if you have 6.5 and need 7).
Process of
revaluation of IELTS Exam:

Revaluation process is officially
called Enquiry on IELTS Results. Here you have to apply within six weeks of
your original result date.

Fee of revaluation is approximately
half of the normal IELTS fee.

Your test will be sent to Cambridge
or Melbourne and be assessed by a senior examiner and it is not disclosed previous
IELTS result will not be disclosed to them.

There is an option to choose
individually of the four or all of them to be examined.
·
It takes nearly 6-8 weeks in the
whole trial during which you cannot use your original test report to apply for
a university or be sent to immigration office.

If there is any changes occur in the
score the IELTS Revaluation fee is fully refunded.
·
Your final score is emailed by the
IELTS.
